post grieving was a series of drawings made in conjunction with an exhibition Looking for Time for the Collective (a LASALLE fine art alumni).

besides my intention to bring attention to the necessity of time required to understand a piece of work, the drawings were derived from a collection of personal imagery that meant something to me. among these, most of the original images from this series were taken by myself.
the loops that have began to appear within my drawings were to mark a kind of neutral existence that exist, a quiet existence; like the mechanisms of the universe it is irrelevant and has no intentions to help or harm us.
the series of drawings seek time through the idea of slowness and space, a compilation of personal imagery derived from my knowledge, a hybrid of knowing and not knowing. The drawings Post grieving refers to the period of coping and recovering.
